This SLED is a laser with a high polarization extinction ratio, available in two models with spectral widths of 35nm and 70nm respectively. It delivers an output optical power of 15mW and is suitable for applications such as optical coherence tomography (OCT).
840nm SLD Light Source Output Power: 5mW Spectral Width: 35nm Suitable for OCT
The fibre-optic ASE broadband light source is a non-coherent light source, generated by spontaneous emission from erbium-doped quartz fibre pumped by a semiconductor laser. It incorporates spectral flattening technology to achieve a broadband, flat spectrum. The light source covers the C-band wavelength range (1528 nm to 1569 nm) with spectral flatness exceeding 2 dB.
This light source product provides complete spectral coverage across the traditional C-band wavelengths, with spectral flatness of approximately 1.5–2 dB. It delivers a maximum output optical power of 50 mW, which is power-adjustable, and outputs via single-mode fibre.
This series comprises two configurations: Super Luminescent Diode (SLD) modules with or without temperature control modules. It features low power consumption and compact dimensions. Available in three specifications: 8-pin, 6-pin, and 4-pin.
