Here are our typical application solutions and project cases.
Company A is a manufacturer of distributed fibre optic vibration monitoring systems based in Malaysia. They assemble their own DAS optical path systems by purchasing core modules. Prior to working with us, they consistently utilised lasers from major international brands such as RIO and NTK, which were prohibitively expensive, resulting in high costs for the manufactured DAS systems. Following collaboration with us, Company A substituted these with our 20mW 1550nm laser featuring a 3k narrow linewidth. The overall system performance remained virtually identical, whilst achieving cost reductions that significantly enhanced product competitiveness.
FWCW radar systems require an FMCW tunable laser as the radar light source. This application demands the narrowest possible linewidth, coupled with a tuning range of 2–5 GHz, a tuning speed of 100–200 kHz, and the highest possible output optical power. Securing cost-effective tunable FMCW light sources internationally presents certain challenges. Our company offers two laser modules specifically for FMCW applications:
- High-power Narrow Linewidth Linear Sweep Laser Module (10GHz)
- Narrow Linewidth Continuous Tuning Laser Module (1 ~ 100 GHz)
