Does the DAS data acquisition card require an external power supply?
Our fiber optic sensing DAS data acquisition cards have physical interfaces for PCIe x8 and 10 Gigabit optical networks. When using the 10 Gigabit optical physical interface an externally powered acquisition card is required for proper operation.
External power supply requirements are: 12V, 0.6A.
When using the PCIe x8 interface, no external power supply is required.
